While my love for filmmaking started with the everyday, my journey has brought me closer to humanity and the profound emotions that define our lives. Over the past five years, I've delved deep into the expression of emotion through film. This exploration has led me to work with numerous musicians, including a feature-length experimental music film called NOA, which won Best Film at the Bloomington International Film Festival in 2023. It was with this project that I discovered the power of cinema to convey experiences and feelings that can't be put into words. I'm truly fascinated by how art, especially filmmaking, can move us, helping us understand ourselves more fully than ever before.
I’ve been evolving as a filmmaker for over a decade now. In the early days, I used to carry a little digital point & shoot camera everywhere I went (remember a time before smartphones?) I was really drawn to capturing everyday scenes - those mundane moments that actually make up life's magic - and transformed them into video collages that came alive with immersive music and sound.

I share my life with my husband, a talented carpenter and architect. Together we take on lots of DIY projects including, renovating our first home in picturesque Brown County, Indiana.
When I'm not working on my films at home, I'm a wanderer at heart, exploring 49 U.S. states and 17 countries (so far!). I adore spending time in nature and seeking new and unique experiences (like working with traditional weavers in Oaxaca, or learning to sketch the sites of Rome.) Food is a my other passion, and you can always find me trying out new recipes and hosting dinner parties with friends.
If I had to choose just one favorite pastime, it would be the Classic Road Trip, which tends to encapsulate my love for travel, nature, and culinary adventures all in one (with ample opportunities to use my camera!). My ultimate ambition is to author a camping or road-trip-inspired cookbook, accompanied by my own photographs or film.
